Our mission is to help everyone living with a chronic condition understand it well enough to take control of it.

The apps

Valimia's apps, Fibro, Spondy, Mya and Cypps, are symptom trackers for fibromyalgia, ankylosing spondylitis, ME/CFS and CP/CPPS. It started with Spondy: I live with ankylosing spondylitis, and I built it to track my own health and bring something useful to my rheumatology appointments. The others came from seeing how differently each condition behaves, and how few trackers were built for any of them.

Each app is built around the specifics of its condition rather than being a generic symptom log: Fibro understands flares, brain fog, and barometric pressure sensitivity; Spondy understands enthesitis, uveitis, and biologics; Mya understands post-exertional malaise, pacing, and energy envelopes, since ME/CFS doesn't behave anything like a same-day flare; Cypps understands pelvic floor symptoms, the NIH-CPSI and UPOINT. They all sync with Apple Health or Health Connect, spot patterns in the data automatically, and generate a report you can hand to your specialist.

Where we're headed

Valimia is still small and built carefully, one condition at a time. Next is Psar, for psoriatic arthritis, which tracks joints and skin together. In time, we want people who live with more than one condition to see them together in one place.

We'll keep adding condition-specific tools where we think we can build something genuinely better than what's already out there, starting with the conditions closest to home.
