Daily Check-In

Log pelvic pain, urinary bother, urgency, and stress in about a minute a day, plus sitting hours, alcohol, bowels, mood, and whether you did your pelvic floor PT.

πŸ”₯

Flare Tracking

Log a flare with its severity, where it hurts, and anything you think set it off, so you can see how often symptoms spike well beyond your usual.

πŸ“Š

NIH-CPSI Assessment

Track your NIH Chronic Prostatitis Symptom Index score over time, the same validated instrument your urologist would use, not a generic pain questionnaire.

🧭

UPOINT Phenotype

A short self-report version of UPOINT, the system urologists use to sort CP/CPPS into six domains. It shows which areas look active and are worth raising with your doctor. It's a guide for that conversation, not a diagnosis.

🧘

Treatment Reminders

Pelvic floor physical therapy is first-line treatment for CP/CPPS. Set reminders for PT sessions, medication, or anything else. If you do trigger point release, log your pain before and after each session to see whether it's working for you.

πŸͺ‘

Your Own Triggers

Logs the two triggers the research supports, recent sexual activity and UTI-like symptoms, alongside sitting, bowel straining, and alcohol. Once you've logged enough days, Cypps shows which of them tend to be followed by worse days for you. It describes your pattern, it doesn't predict flares.

❀️

Health Data Sync

Syncs steps, sleep, heart rate, and HRV from Apple Health or Android Health Connect, so symptoms can be seen alongside the rest of your data.

✨

AI Insights

A weekly breakdown of what your own logs show, and a chat you can ask about your data in plain language. It sticks to your patterns rather than handing out generic trigger lists.

🌱

Wellbeing Check-In

CP/CPPS affects mood as well as the body. A short, regular mood check (PHQ-2) sits alongside your symptoms, and routes to support are always shown, whatever your score.

Doctor Reports

Generate a PDF report built to be evidence: your NIH-CPSI trend, symptom averages, flare history, trigger exposure, treatment adherence, and UPOINT domains, ready to bring to a urologist or physio.

About

Built for the reality of CP/CPPS

Chronic pelvic pain syndrome is confusing to live with and hard to explain in a ten-minute appointment. It's mostly diagnosed by ruling other things out, so many people never get a firm label, and the symptoms (pelvic pain, urinary bother, urgency, sexual pain) don't fit neatly into a single specialty.

Cypps logs the symptoms that actually matter for CP/CPPS, tracks the NIH-CPSI the way your urologist would, and records the triggers the research has actually identified, recent sexual activity and UTI-like symptoms, rather than asking you to guess at your own patterns from memory. It also tracks pelvic floor PT, the first-line treatment most people are told about but few are reminded to keep up with.

Cypps is made by Valimia, the makers of Fibro, Spondy, and Mya.

Questions

What is the Cypps app?

Cypps (by Valimia) is a symptom tracking app for chronic prostatitis / chronic pelvic pain syndrome (CP/CPPS). You log pelvic pain, urinary and pelvic floor symptoms in about a minute a day, record flares, and track your NIH-CPSI score over time.

What does Cypps track?

Pelvic pain, urinary bother, urgency, stress and mood each day, sitting time, alcohol, pelvic floor physio and trigger point release, plus flares and treatment reminders. Cypps uses the NIH Chronic Prostatitis Symptom Index (NIH-CPSI), the questionnaire urologists use, and a short self-report version of UPOINT to show which areas look active.

Does Cypps work with Apple Health or Health Connect?

Yes, if you choose to connect it. Cypps reads steps, active energy, workouts, sleep, heart rate, heart rate variability and mindful minutes, and lines them up with your symptoms. It never writes anything to your health app.

Is Cypps free?

Yes. Logging, flares, NIH-CPSI, trends and the doctor's report are free. Cypps Premium, a subscription with a free trial, adds a weekly insight, a chat about your own data, early flare warnings and your personal trigger patterns.

Can I share my data with my urologist or physio?

Yes. Cypps makes a PDF report of your NIH-CPSI trend, symptoms, flares, triggers and treatments that you can print or send before an appointment. It's free.

Is my health data private?

Your data is stored in the EU (Ireland), encrypted, and only you can see it. We never sell it or use it for advertising. Deleting your account in the app deletes everything. AI features only run if you turn them on.

Is Cypps a medical device?

No. Cypps helps you keep a clear record and spot your own patterns. It doesn't diagnose or treat CP/CPPS, and it doesn't replace your doctor.

Which phones does Cypps support?

Android now, and iPhone soon. The app is in English.
